
Ned Irvine is a graphic designer, artist and educator who worked for over fifteen years in New York City and Raleigh before settling in Wilmington, North Carolina in 2003. He specializes in designing printed publications, as well as creating graphic identity, illustration and environmental graphics for commercial and cultural clients. He holds a B.F.A. degree in studio art from UNC-Chapel Hill and a masters degree in graphic design from NC State University College of Design. He taught design in North Carolina at the university level for over 25 years before retiring from teaching at UNC Wilmington in 2024, where he was appointed associate professor emeritus. He lives and works in historic downtown Wilmington.
